Mixed Touch Rugby

Our Mixed Touch Rugby sessions offer a fun, social and inclusive way for adults of all abilities to enjoy the game.

Whether you’re completely new to rugby, returning after a break, or already an experienced player, you’ll find a friendly group and a supportive environment where everyone gets involved.

Touch rugby is non‑contact, fast‑paced and easy to learn, making it a brilliant option for players who want to stay active, meet new people and enjoy team sport without the physical demands of full‑contact rugby.

Our aims:

  • Create a friendly, inclusive space where everyone feels welcome.
  • Help players build confidence, skills and fitness.
  • Encourage teamwork, communication and enjoyment of the game.
  • Offer opportunities to take part in festivals, fixtures and club events.
  • Strengthen the club community by bringing players together across all sections.

What to expect at training

  • Skill-building activities – simple, enjoyable drills that help you improve passing, movement and teamwork.
  • Fitness through fun – light conditioning, agility and footwork work built into games and challenges.
  • Team play & tactics – learning how to work together in attack and defence in a relaxed, supportive setting.
  • Plenty of game time – friendly matches where everyone gets a chance to play, learn and enjoy the sport.

Sessions are designed to be enjoyable, varied and accessible, with coaches who make sure players of all levels feel comfortable and involved.
