Welcome to the youngest section of our club
Our Mini and Junior teams start from the Pups (anyone aged under 6)
Training for our younger members is very much based around fun and learning new skills that can be taken on in subsequent years.
In our U7 group, the rules of rugby begin to be explained and they get introduced to Tag rugby and a few rules such as running forward, passing behind and try scoring. We encourage lots of fun!
In our U9 group, at this stage we introduce the contact and tackling aspect of the game. It is important that this age group have good rugby role models to look up to so we regularly organise trips to watch the Worcester Warriors.
The focus for our U11 side is very much on continued development and enjoyment as well as moving on with the understanding of the laws of the game and discipline. We are very pleased to have both girls and boys playing at this age group.
Ross RFC U12’s currently welcome boys and girls in Year 7 at secondary school. Our ethos at the club has been, and always will be, participation and enjoyment first and foremost. During the season the team play in competitive 12 or 13 a-side matches against other clubs across Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.
UU13/14s are a rapidly expanding group training on Thursday evenings at 6pm with training and matches on Sundays.
